Natives Along the Wabash

2008 Publication that helps teachers, students and parents better understand the cultures of the Wabash Valley from prehistoric Mississippian cultures into the 20th century. There is a coloring book section for kids; a section of biographical information on selected Shawnee, Potawatomi, Miami, Lenape and Piankeshaw people; there is a workbook section with questions to answer; there is also a section on how to build a wigwam, make and play games and so much more.

Research Samples for Great Lakes Native Americans

Research for the book and for Sheryl's Educational Programs has come from many sources. Among them museum collections, archives from libraries, university studies, period artwork, journals and military records, trade lists, church records, archaeological excavations and talks with individuals with family history. Here is a sample of some of the artwork available to researchers providing "visual" evidence of the Great Lakes and Eastern Woodland people.
